Summer is closely connected with barbecuing! Everyone loves meeting in the park and having a meal together. Next to salads, sausages and sauces, bread is most important to a well planned barbecue. Here is a recipe for an easy flatbread you can grill!
To get started, preheat your grill. Do this some time ahead, so the grill will be hot when you are ready. It is up to you if you use charcoal or a gas grill.
Put 350 gramm of flour, a pinch of salt, 1 teaspoon baking powder and 350 gramm natural yogurth in a bowl. There is no special order, just remember using a big enough bowl.
Knead the ingredients for one minute, or until everything sticks together. At the end, you should have a round ball of dough.
Now that everything is mixed, form 6 equal-sized pieces. They should have the size of a regular egg.
Put some dough on a clean surface and use your hands to bring the dough into the shape of a round plate. If you want, you can use a rolling pin.
To give the flatbreads a cool shape, take a knife and carefully cut 4 lines into the centre of each round. Try to cut only the surface. If you cut to deep, the bread might fall apart.
Put the flatbreads on the grill now. After one minute, turn them over. Use a fork to do this. If they look good, serve them to your friends!
