Please note that these solutions are only suggestions. There are various possibilities for argumentation.
- Let's start with...
- On the one hand / on the other hand
- It must be considered
- In my opinion / I think, personally, ...
- I agree / I disagree
Possible introductions to the topic and the argumentation
- there are so many things that I want to do and some things that I want to achieve within the next 5 years
- for our yearbook, people have submitted things they want to achieve
- among these are cool things like ...
- travelling the country and visiting places like the Grand Canyon, nationalparks and pulsing cities
- trying an extreme sport like skydiving
- going on a road trip with friends or alone, exploring a country you have never been to before and getting to know it in an adventurous way
- getting a tattoo
- setting a lofty goal like running a marathon or learning how to surf
- going to the station and taking the next random train somewhere
Goals to achieve within the next 5 years
- the above goals and ideas mean that you will be able to develop enormously as a person, but they will also push you to your limits
- for one thing, you will discover parts of this earth you have never seen before and consequently meet people with very different views of life from your own. This will change and broaden your perspective and attitude towards some things
- just before you realise your goal or dream, you may want to back out or suddenly feel unsure whether it was the right decision to pursue it
- achieving a goal like a big trip or making a purchase costs money and time. Be aware that you will have to work to realistically reach these goals
Opportunities and constraints associated with these goals
- while some people's goals are rather materialistic, others have very different goals
- these can include ..
- reviving a friendship that has become dormant by seeking contact again
- making a contribution to society, for instance by supporting a charity or donating blood
- settign yourself the goal of opening up to love and letting other people get close to you
- initiating an act of kindness by bringing joy to a homeless person or a surprise to a loved one
- if you have the ambition to start a family at a young age, prioritising taking the next step in the relationship with your (current) partner
- learning to forgive your previous enemies and get closer to them, you may even be able to befriend the person
Goals to achieve within the next 5 years
- especially approaching someone with whom you haven't had any contact for years takes a lot of courage
- before you decide to donate to a charity or organisation, you should first carefully research the recipient of the donation so that you do not regret your decision to invest your money and time later
- like all things in life, becoming a parent at a young age brings both drawbacks and gains: you will have to be responsible yourself to raise a child, as they will be dependent on your care in the future. At the same time, the birth and raising of a child holds one of the greatest gifts on earth
- getting closer to someone you have had mostly negative feelings about can prove to be one of the biggest challenges of all. For this you need inner greatness and to be able to free yourself from your own ego
Opportunities and sacrifices
Conclusion
- as humans, we have been conditioned to always resist change first. This is because change has a threatening character for us, as we then have to leave the old familiar comfort zone which is not easy
- but there will be plenty of happiness by taking one's future into one's own hands against one's insecurities or fears and also trying out things one would never have dared to do before
- once you've accomplished to move through your fears, doubts and insecurities, true development will happen
- Include personal messages or reflections from students and teachers to capture shared memories and emotions.
- Add themed sections (e.g., “lessons learned,” “highlights,” “future hopes”) to tell a deeper story of the school year.
- Feature student achievements, unique projects, and community events to showcase a variety of experiences.
- Incorporate candid photos and quotes to create an authentic, personal atmosphere.
- Provide space for students to add their own notes or signatures, making each yearbook unique to its owner.
