Best lunch ever

Last summer Alex and some friends went on a hiking tour. In the morning, they met in front of a small hostel.

Alex quickly went inside to get his backpack. Then the group started walking through the mountains.

The weather was sunny, but the path was quite difficult.

At noon, they found a nice place under some trees and decided to have a picnic.

They put blankets on the grass and unpacked their food and drinks.

Alex had forgotten his sandwiches, but his friends shared fruit, bread and cake with him.

They talked, laughed and enjoyed the beautiful view.

For Alex, it was the best lunch ever.
