Preferred Living Locations: Insights into German opinions
Our school took part in a survey about young people’s views on the main advantages of living in different places.
In the city, 30% say that jobs and apprenticeships are the biggest advantage.
For 25%, living close to shops and supermarkets is most important.
Another 25% like the many leisure activities, while 20% prefer public transport.
In the countryside, cheaper houses and flats come first with 40%.
A strong community is important for 30%. Quiet surroundings and outdoor activities each receive 15%.
