They can talk more, play games, or do outdoor activities. This can make family life stronger and more fun. Also, children may sleep better and do more homework. But sometimes screens can be useful for learning or staying in touch with friends and family who live far away. It’s not always easy to stop using phones or computers, especially for work or school. In my opinion, it’s good to reduce screen time, but we don’t need to stop using it completely. Families just need to find a good balance.

Using only one language in Europe could make communication across countries easier and help people understand each other better. It would be useful for travel, business, and international cooperation. However, this idea also has serious drawbacks. Europe has many unique cultures, and language is a big part of identity and heritage. Forcing one language could lead to the loss of cultural diversity and many beautiful languages. In my opinion, it’s better to encourage learning a common second language, like English, while still protecting native languages. This way, we can improve communication without losing what makes each country so special.

Some people believe school trips are a waste of time and money, as students miss classes and may not focus on learning. However, school trips often offer experiences that the classroom cannot offer. They help students learn about history, science, or culture in real-world settings, and also encourage teamwork and independence. Students usually remember these trips for years, which shows their impact. Of course, the trips need to be well-organised and have a clear educational purpose. In my opinion, school trips are a valuable part of education and help students grow in ways that lessons alone cannot achieve and are therefore not a waste of time.

Subject: Complaint about Winter Holiday in the Mountains Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to complain about the winter holiday I spent with my grandparents, which we booked through your travel agency. The trip was to the snowy mountains, but it was very disappointing and badly organized. First of all, the hotel was not as described in your brochure. It was small, old, and very cold. The heating did not work well, and there were no extra blankets. My grandparents are elderly, so this was a serious problem. Also, the staff at the hotel were not helpful. Second, we were told there would be daily activities like snow walks and ski lessons, but most of them were cancelled without reason. We were also promised transport from the airport, but the driver was very late, and we had to wait in the cold for a long time. This holiday was stressful instead of relaxing. My grandparents and I are very disappointed. We kindly ask for a refund or some form of compensation. I look forward to your reply. Kind regards, [Your Full Name](172 words)

The Big Jump It was a sunny Saturday morning, and 11-year-old Leo was finally ready for his biggest motocross challenge. He had been practicing for months on the small hills near his house, and today he wanted to try something new — a high jump over a steeper hill. With his helmet tight and his motocross bike shining in the sun, Leo rode to the track with his dad. A few friends were already there, watching and cheering. Leo looked at the hill and felt nervous, but also excited. He took a deep breath, started the engine, and raced forward. The bike flew through the air as Leo jumped over the hill. For a few seconds, it felt like he was flying. He landed safely, and everyone clapped and shouted his name. His dad gave him a thumbs-up with a big smile. Leo felt proud. He had faced his fear and done something amazing. That day, he knew he wanted to keep riding — and maybe even race professionally one day.(169 words)
