Give your opinion.
Choose one of the following statements and write about 100 words. Note: These statements contain only some possible arguments. You can also use a different kind of argumentation. Cars should be powered by solar energy only. To give an opinion about this statement, one should consider the advantages and disadvantages of solar energy. On the one hand, you would be able to power your car at home and mustn't always go to a gas station. On the other hand, solar panels, that provide solar energy, aren't affordable for everyone because they are very expensive.
Of course, solar energy is very environmentally friendly compared to cars that use fuel which causes CO
emissions, but the problem with solar energy is that they are weather dependent.
I don't fully agree with this statement because solar energy isn’t affordable for everyone, however, if you can afford it, then you should use solar energy to protect the environment.
I agree with this statement because online you can search for a topic and you get it explained in many ways within seconds.
I agree that parents should pay their children for chores, but in a proper way and not exaggerate by giving too much many for easy tasks, for example cleaning up the own room.

Learning online is as good as learning at school.
This topic is controversial because learning online is a thing students started doing only in the past few years. Nevertheless, learning online has proven itself to be very effective for many students. On the one hand, in school you can ask a teacher if there is something you don't understand. On the other hand, online you have access to many websites with different explanations for one topic. In school you may not be able to understand the way your teacher explains a topic, online, however there are thousands of learn websites with different ways explaining a topic.
I agree with this statement because online you can search for a topic and you get it explained in many ways within seconds.

Parents should pay their children for helping in the household.
This has both positive and negative aspects. On the one hand, children learn how to deal with money at a young age. On the other hand, young children may start not to do anything without a reward or even demand money for cleaning up their own room although its self-evident to help in the household. However, if parents reward their children for chores, it should be in a reasonable way, age-appropriate and suitable to the difficulty of the chore.
I agree that parents should pay their children for chores, but in a proper way and not exaggerate by giving too much many for easy tasks, for example cleaning up the own room.

Choose one of the following tasks.
Task A
Write a story.
Write about one of the pictures in about 160 words. Picture 1:
This is Joey, he is a 17-year-old teenager from New York. After a stressful week in High School, Joey likes to spend time alone to forget everything, get a free mind and recover to be ready for a new week. Well, the last week was one of those stressful ones.
First, he got in a fight with his girlfriend Jessica. Secondly, he got a C in Mathematics, his worst grade until now. And at last, his parents snapped at him when he told them about his grade in Maths. After a week like this he either chills at home and watches the show "Friends" or he goes roller skating. But since he has stress with his parents, this time he won’t be home watching Friends. Instead, he wants to go out to roller skate in the park. He has been roller skating since he was a kid, therefore it’s one of his hobbies. As a kid, he once had a bad accident, since then he has never roller skated without all the safety clothing.
May I introduce you to my puppy? Her name is Khaleesi. To be honest, I don’t know how old she is, for me it only matters that I could save her.
On my seventh birthday my wish was to have a puppy. Luckily, my parents didn’t refuse me this wish and I got the cutest puppy ever, Darcy. I took care of her as if she was my child. Although she ate my homework sometimes, classic, I know, I loved her. Unfortunately, that happiness came to an end after seven years when Darcy died. That day she died is still the worst day of my life and I was depressed for like three months. Because of that accident I swore to myself never to buy a pet again.
I kept my promise and didn’t buy one, in a way Khaleesi came to me. One day, I was walking in the woods and found her injured. I tried to ignore her, but that was just cruel. Of course, I could take her to the animal shelter to avoid another depression, but it looked like I was meant to find her and take care of her.
Write a review.
Write about 160 words.
Write a book review or a film review for a teenage magazine recommending a book or a film you have read or watched lately. "Remember, remember the 5th of November". Based on the Alan Moore and David Lloyd graphic novel, V for Vendetta is a science fiction thriller produced by Joel Silver. In a dystopian future, Britain has become a totalitarian dictatorship, with no room for democracy, freedom, basically no fundamental rights, a mysterious anarchist, who calls himself V, dressed in a black cloak, hiding behind a mask, resists and calls on the citizens to resist too. Although the action in this movie is very exciting, the movie convinces with its strong, well-written, lyrical dialogues and a good message.
One of the main messages of the movie is that people should have the courage to question and resist their government and not just accept life in fear. Otherwise, the government can be as cruel as shown in the movie. For example, homosexuals, ethnic minorities, critics of the government, etc. are being followed and imprisoned.
I can highly recommend this movie because it shows how important fundamental rights are. In addition to that, it shows how important democracy is and that people shouldn’t fear their governments.
