Task 1
I don’t think that everybody wants to spend a holiday in space. First, a trip into space is very expensive and most people cannot afford it. Second, some people are afraid of flying or of being far away from Earth. Third, travelling in space can be dangerous and uncomfortable. For example, there is no normal gravity and astronauts have to live in a very small space. I would prefer a relaxing holiday on Earth.

Dear Sir or Madam,
I saw your advertisement about buying a star in the sky and I am very interested in this special gift. I would like to buy a star for my best friend’s birthday. She is a very important person to me. She loves astronomy, enjoys looking at the night sky and is interested in planets and stars.
Could you please tell me if the star can really be seen from Earth and if I need a telescope to see it?
I would also like to know more about your gift packages. What does the personalized certificate include and what extras can I add?
Could you please give me some information about delivery, the total costs and the possible payment methods? How long does delivery usually take?
Finally, I would like to know if you can guarantee that the star is officially registered and that the certificate is authentic.
Thank you very much for your help.
Kind regards,
Lisa
PICTURE-BASED WRITING
Dear followers, what a day! Today my trip into space finally started. When our rocket left the ground, I was very excited and could hardly believe that the journey had really begun. Soon I could see stars and planets around us.
After a while, I noticed a small flying object near our spaceship. I was surprised and wondered what it could be. Maybe it was a UFO? I felt curious, but also a little nervous.
Later, I saw an astronaut floating in space next to a space station. He was working outside and seemed to repair something. I found it fascinating to watch him move without gravity.
Some time later, we reached the moon. I saw two astronauts on the surface and one of them was holding a flag. There was also a small spacecraft nearby. The moon looked impressive with its mountains and craters.
It was an amazing day and I will never forget these moments in space!
