Du hast im Internet die obige Werbeanzeige der Reiseagentur BACK TO NATURE aus Wales gefunden und warst davon sehr begeistert. Mit deiner Klasse hast du daher die einwöchige Abschlussfahrt dort verbracht. Leider war der Aufenthalt eine einzige Enttäuschung, denn die Beschreibung der Selbstversorger-Holzhütten in der Anzeige entsprach keineswegs den Tatsachen.

E-Mail: Complaint about our stay at Back to Nature

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing on behalf of my class to complain about our stay at your “Back to Nature” cottages in Wales. We spent our one-week final class trip there. We chose your cottages because the online description sounded very attractive. Unfortunately, several of the promises did not match reality.

First, your website promised “peace and quiet” and no traffic. However, our stay was not as quiet and peaceful as we had expected.

Second, the information online stated that free Wi-Fi and a reliable electricity supply were available. Unfortunately, both did not work reliably during our stay. This caused problems for us.

Furthermore, your website claimed that all rooms were furnished sustainably. However, the accommodation did not meet the standard we had expected from the description. We were therefore very disappointed with our stay.

As the holiday did not correspond to the information on your website, we think that a partial refund would be a fair compensation for the inconvenience.

KEYWORD-BASED BLOG ENTRY: My personal feel-good highlight at school

It was during a school project last year. Our class had to prepare a presentation about protecting the environment. At first, I thought it would be a real challenge because we only had a few days to finish everything. I was in a group with three classmates, and everyone had an important job.

One person searched for information, another created the posters, and I prepared the introduction. We all showed a lot of commitment and worked well together. Whenever someone had a problem, the others offered support. Our teacher also helped us by giving useful tips and encouraging us to keep going.

On the day of the presentation, I was nervous at first. But when I saw my classmates smiling and listening carefully, I started to feel much more confident. After the presentation, our teacher told us that we had done a very good job. I was proud of our group and happy that our hard work had paid off.

For me, this moment had great value because I learned that teamwork can make difficult tasks easier. It was also an opportunity to show that I can speak in front of others and overcome my fears.
