SPSB is a major e-transportation project in the US with many advantages. These buses do not produce air pollution, so they are better for people’s health.
Children may also become fitter, and health costs could go down.
The buses are quite expensive because they cost about twice as much as diesel buses.
However, school districts help to pay for them. The project is also good for the economy.
The electric transport industry is growing, and more than 2,500 new jobs have already been created.
In future, the large batteries of solar-powered buses could even provide extra electricity for cities.
Perhaps there will be more electric school buses worldwide in future.
