Possible introductions to the topic and the argumentation
1. Describe the pictures:
- The first picture shows a young woman standing in front of a wall filled with photos of tropical beaches. She is wearing white summer clothes and seems to be dreaming about holidays. The pictures of palm trees, blue skies, and clear water create a strong feeling of relaxation and escape.
- The second picture shows two people sitting on snow, looking at the Northern Lights in the night sky. The bright green and purple lights above the mountains look spectacular. This picture represents adventure, nature, and once-in-a-lifetime travel experiences.
2. Talk about your personal dream destinations:
- My personal dream destination is England, because I would like to explore both the big cities and the countryside. London is very exciting with its famous landmarks like the Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace, and the London Eye.
- At the same time, I would like to see the traditional side of England, for example small villages, castles, and the beautiful landscape in places like the Lake District or Cornwall.
- Another reason why I would love to visit England is that I could improve my English. Talking to local people and experiencing the culture directly would help me a lot. That is why England is at the top of my list.
3. Explain how people make travel decisions:
- People often decide on their holidays based on money and time. If they do not have much time, they usually go somewhere nearby, while longer holidays are often spent abroad.
- Another important factor is personal interest. Some people love relaxing on the beach, while others prefer adventure trips, city breaks, or cultural holidays with museums and historic sights.
- Nowadays, many people also use social media, travel blogs, or recommendations from friends to choose their destination. Pictures and videos online can inspire them and influence their decisions strongly.
